As digital printing evolves toward higher speeds, higher resolutions, and larger formats, traditional pneumatic or mechanical transmission methods are increasingly unable to meet operational demands; the introduction of electric cylinders has, therefore, significantly enhanced both the dynamic performance and print quality of this equipment.


Key application scenarios include:

**Precise Printhead Positioning and Height Adjustment**

Digital printing requires maintaining a constant, minute gap (typically 1–2 mm) between the printhead and the substrate. Through closed-loop control, electric cylinders enable micron-level vertical (Z-axis) adjustment of the printhead. This allows the system to accommodate printing requirements for materials of varying thicknesses—such as paper, PVC, or metal sheets—while preventing image blurring caused by nozzle collisions or deviations in jetting distance.

In certain UV digital printing systems, electric cylinders are employed to control the pressure and angle of the doctor blade within the ink reservoir, ensuring uniform ink distribution across the anilox roller.
