Large six-degree-of-freedom platform packaging and shipping

2025-11-17

Large six-degree-of-freedom platforms, as high-precision, high-load equipment, require customized

packaging and shipping designs based on equipment characteristics, transportation environment, and

industry standards. The following explains the packaging methods, securing devices, and disassembly

schemes:

I. Customized Packaging Methods

**Wooden Crate/Frame Securement:** Secure the equipment entirely in fumigated wooden crates or

frames. The internal dimensions must match the equipment to prevent movement during transport. For

extremely heavy equipment (e.g., tonnage loads), reinforced frames are necessary to meet stacking

strength requirements.

**Moisture-Proof Sealing Treatment:** After applying a sealing-type rust-preventive oil to metal parts,

seal them using multiple layers of vapor phase rust-preventive paper and plastic film. Wrap the exterior

with cling film and bubble wrap for cushioning to prevent corrosion in the humid sea environment.

**Identification and List:** Clearly label the equipment name, model, weight, and destination on the

outside of the packaging, and include a detailed packing list for easy verification during loading and

unloading.

II. Anti-vibration and Anti-tilt Fixing Device Design

Internal Support Structure: EVA foam or custom-made sponge is used to fill the gap between the

equipment and the wooden crate, with a focus on protecting precision components such as servo

electric cylinders and sensors. Locally added cushioning pads are also included.

External Reinforcement Measures: Steel straps or nylon straps are used to secure the equipment to the

wooden crate base, combined with anti-slip pads to prevent displacement. For equipment with a high

center of gravity, additional diagonal bracing supports are added to maintain balance.

III. Core Component Disassembly and Packaging Solution

Separate Packaging: The control cabinet, other components, and other auxiliary systems are separated

from the main platform, individually packaged, and secured within the same container to avoid vibration

 interference.
