1. Guide rail lubrication The purpose of linear modules is to reduce friction resistance and friction wear to avoid creep at low speed and reduce temperature rise at high temperature. Therefore, the lubrication of the guide rail is very important. Linear modules use lubricating oil. For rolling guides, oil and grease can be used. (Remember to remove dust and residue during maintenance)
2. Guide rail protection During operation, care should be taken to prevent chips, abrasive particles or cutting fluid from spreading on the guide rail surface, otherwise it will aggravate the wear, scratches and rust of the guide rail. To this end, pay attention to daily inspection of the track guard to ensure that the track guard is in place.
3. Ball screw maintenance method When using a ball screw, good lubrication is required. If the lubrication is insufficient, the friction between the steel ball and the rolling surface will increase during operation, which may be the main reason for shortening the life. Linear modules can be lubricated with grease or oil. The lubrication methods can be roughly divided into manual lubrication and automatic forced lubrication. Appropriate selection can be made according to the operating speed and use environment of the system. Modular slider is a commonly used electric cylinder device in the industry.
