Servo presses can be used to produce miniature vacuum pumps.

2026-06-08

Miniature vacuum pumps are core pneumatic power components in precision instruments, medical equipment, and laboratory testing. Their production process demands extremely high precision in the press-fitting and pressure stability of core components. Servo presses, with their exceptional pressure control and positioning accuracy, have become indispensable core process equipment in the assembly of miniature vacuum pumps.

The core structure of a miniature vacuum pump consists of a miniature DC motor, an eccentric mechanism, a diaphragm assembly, and a pump housing. The assembly process requires precise control of the press-fitting force and depth: Overly tight diaphragm installation increases motor resistance, leading to increased operating noise and a shortened lifespan; overly loose installation prevents the formation of a stable negative pressure, resulting in insufficient ultimate vacuum parameters to meet design requirements. Servo presses offer an adjustable pressure range of 1-100kN, with a press-fitting force detection accuracy of no less than 99.9% within 50kN and a repeatability accuracy of ±0.01mm, perfectly matching the high precision requirements of miniature vacuum pump component assembly.

In the diaphragm assembly pressing process, the servo press can generate pressing force-displacement curves in real time. If problems such as out-of-tolerance dimensional deviations or inherent defects occur during pressing, the system will immediately trigger an alarm and mark the defective product, preventing defective parts from flowing into the next process. Simultaneously, the equipment supports the storage and export of pressing data, facilitating full-process production quality traceability for enterprises, perfectly adapting to the product lifecycle traceability requirements of fields such as medical devices and semiconductor testing equipment.

Compared to traditional manual pressing processes and hydraulic presses, the servo press can also quickly adjust production parameters according to different specifications of miniature vacuum pumps, from 3V low-pressure small pumps to 36V industrial-grade miniature pumps. Changeover can be completed simply by calling a preset program in the system, flexibly adapting to the production needs of multiple varieties and small batches. Furthermore, the equipment has a small footprint and low operating noise, without causing additional environmental interference to the precision assembly workshop of miniature vacuum pumps, effectively helping manufacturing enterprises improve product assembly yield and overall production efficiency.
